About this Project

Zoo structures need to be strong and sound to be able to withstand the weather and the high volume of traffic from public visitors who frequent the zoo daily.  This was an aviary skywalk, a place where people can climb to observe the exotic bird species that nest and habitate the aviary.  The structure was failing and in severe need of redesign, re-engineering and restructuring to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for the zoo patrons.
